We have been retained by our client in Northwest Houston to deliver a Senior .NET Software Engineer to work onsite on a regular full-time, direct hire basis. This role offers career growth and training on technologies and processes there are various devices with specific configurations acquiring data. Device settings can be learned. Were seeking a full stack .NET software engineer ready to work with C#, .NET framework, WPF, WCF, and SQL Server, TSQL.

Develop features for project requirements for software that accesses devices and retrieves data. Work on new projects, from conceptualization to deployment. Ensure application performance, application uptime, maintain high standards for code quality and design. There will be a significant amount of applications support of .NET windows / SQL applications but also new development when support issues are solved, and time permits. Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance, troubleshooting, app support. Documentation of processes and procedures, as well as provide instructions or training of processes to team members.

Requirements:

At least five (5) years of experience in building and supporting .NET software applications both windows and web applications, however 5+ years of C# windows is required. We require .NET, C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server TSQL development experience, and experience using the windows presentation foundation (WPF) of classes, WPF/XAML/MVVM, and the windows communications foundation (WCF) of classes. Experience with devices that perform data acquisition is big plus.

Experience with the design and development of data acquisition systems to work with existing systems, debugging, troubleshooting and .NET support skills are required. Excellent ability to learn new processes, procedures, as well as being trained on devices acquiring data. Documentation of processes and providing training of processes.

It is a plus if you have any Interest in learning new processes, new procedures, new software tools and utilities, new devices, and new data formats. Also, there is potential for taking on some leadership within this small team.

If you seek a role that is 100% new development, this is not the job for you. There will be significant .NET applications support and troubleshooting duties. New development occurs after support issues are complete, but support issues are the priority. There is new development as time permits, including development of large, new .NET applications that can take significant amount of time to complete.

This is Onsite Work in NW Houston. Not Hybrid. Not Remote. you will be working onsite with this small team of dedicated software engineering resources working onsite in Northwest Houston Monday through Friday with regular work weeks, in a very nice office.

Salary Range: $100,000 135,000 / year
